Laura Gandy Jewelry is a small jewelry company that takes its inspiration from the astoundingly beautiful contrast between the natural and the man-made that is on display nowhere better than in the Bay Area.
It is a part of the country where technology reins supreme, but hardly at the expense of the breathtaking swaths of natural land protected so fiercely by their neighbors and inhabitants. Whether taking inspiration from the grandness of the Golden Gate Bridge or the vastness of the Pacific Ocean, it is impossible not to appreciate the way they complement one another.
Appreciation of nature and the delicate balance between wilderness and man also motivate the sustainable and eco-friendly practices of Laura Gandy Jewelry. Using recycled silver and gold I am able to create high-quality jewelry with a small carbon footprint. All of the gemstones I use are traceable and fair trade. I also offer the increasingly popular alternative of synthetic, lab grown stones in many of my pieces for the ultimate in guilt-free luxury.

Each piece of Laura Gandy Jewelry is made by hand and no two pieces are exactly the same. I employ a blend of traditional techniques to create my final products: hand-fabrication, wax carving, and lost-wax casting. Visit the blog for more information on my process!
Laura now lives in Mill Valley, CA with her husband and golden retriever, where she has a home studio. Outside of the studio, her biggest interests are hiking, reading, and traveling around the country to spend time with friends and family.
